Date Night

Since i had the day off on tuesday, we decided to go on a fishing date when colby got home from work. He rushed home and packed all our stuff and we headed out to the narrows. it was such a nice day sunny and no wind, a little chill but not bad. We got all our stuff on and headed down to the river.

This picture does not do the place justice, the leaves were bright and beautiful and its so peaceful.

I had not been fishing for a while so i had to have some lessons and some practice but once i started it all came back to me. and i was in my own world. My dad made me a fly rod, my very own and i dont have to share it with colby! THANKS DAD!!!

colby out fished me but i had more bites then he did so i think i won. but next time i will show him up. We had a lot fun laughing and teasing and just being up in the mountains enjoying the peace and quiet. It started to get cold and dark so we loaded up and headed home. Thanks for the awesome date night Colby i cant wait until our next fishing trip so i can kick your trash!
