A months worth

we did not have the Internet for about a month so I have a lot of catching up to do. Here it goes, i will try to not make it too long since there are a billion pictures.

a while ago Colby and i had the chance to go on a date, just the two of us. it was kind of weird, we both felt bad for leaving deegan but it was good for us to get out. we went to dinner at deer cliff and then on a four-wheeler ride up to where he proposed to me. it was so much fun.

SEPTEMBER- for those who bow hunt or have husbands that bow hunt September marks the opening of the elk hunt! at our house this is the most important month of the year! weeks before the hunt open there is a lot of planning and preparation going on. Deegan and i got to go up for a weekend and camp with colbys mom. we had a lot of fun hanging out and getting one last camping trip in. the end of the hunt came and with lots of sightings of elk but no luck in getting one this year. hopefully next year will bring better luck. but to make things better colby got his first picture in a major hunting magazine.

Next we bought a HOUSE!!! we have been looking since we have been married and trying to figure out what would be best for our family and we finally found the one! there are no pictures and will not be any pictures, too many crazies, Chester molesters, killers, stalkers, ya know just crazy people. ( steph i am getting a video for you, but the rest of my family you are just going to have to come visit!) i can tell you that it is still in Idaho, and it is a brand new home, it was just finished when we bought it. we love it and it fits our family perfect. we are all moved in and now trying to get the yard in before winter! wish us luck cause we will need it!

in the middle of all this chaos... our little man turned 6 months!!! holy cow he is getting old! i shouldn't say he is little cause he is actually a big boy. his stats for this months appt

he is still just a happy happy little boy. he is full of lots of energy, he is always wiggling and screaming and talking and just never sits still. he keeps us going. he loves to eat and roll all over. he hates to sit, i think we are going to skip that stage and just go on to standing and walking. he loves to be standing up. that is all he wants to do all day. he has such a cute personality and makes us laugh all day long. he has this new smile where he has to have his tongue out!

he sleeps on his side, and only on this side, i roll him to the other side and he just rolls right back to this side!

oh yeah we also painted our table to match our new house. this is the color it was before. sorry i forgot to take before and after pics so this will have to do.

we painted it black. it was a long process but it was worth it. we love it!
