1st south fork trip

this weekend we took our first trip to fish the south fork. we left thursday morning and by the time we got there it started to rain and it was windy so the girls decided to stay at camp and relax. and let me tell ya relax we did do! we talked and read books, we went to lunch and then got the famous sqaure ice cream and took naps. then we shuttled back to get the boats and boys. We had a bigger group than we usually do. so we all took turns cooking dinners. we ate and ate and ate and it was so good. we learned how to make homemade bread in a dutch oven and it was so tatsy. i cant wait to try it out. Friday was really really pouring and cold so colbys mom and i drove to jackson hole to shop and get lunch. the boys trip that day was really good, the fising was amazing but they were all freezing when we picked them up. but of course on the way back to camp we had to stop and get a famous square ice cream. it had rained for two days striaght and i thought i would never get to go out on the boat and catch some fish and enjoy beautiful outdoors. but saturday we woke up got ready and it turned out to be a pretty nice day. it was just right for fishing, it turned out to be another awesome day for fishing. we all caught some even the girls, but we didnt want to show them up to bad so we took our turn sitting and relaxing in the boat. once again before we headed back to camp we stopped to get some famous sqaure ice cream. yes 3 in one weekend. (its tradition) that night we finally got to have a campfire, but we had got back from fishing so late and had a late dinner that i couldnt even fit a roasted mallow in mouth tummy. i was sad, cause they are my favorite, but i did not miss out on the treat side on this trip. i had way more than my share of treats. Sunday we packed up and headed back to the real world. we were all sad and not ready for the trip to end, but we knew we had to. sadly to say someone forgot to charge the camera...(hmm not sure who that was) so these are the only picutres we got on the trip.......

colbys fishing pole on the rocks. and then colbys best friend Bj. luckily Bj brought his camera and was super nice and took a few for us.(thanks Bj) now we just need to remember to get them from him. thanks to everyone who went on the trip we had a blast, hopefully next time the weather is better!
