September = Hunting

The month of September in our household is all about hunting. (like i am sure a lot of your households) Here in Idaho the Bow hunt started Aug 30. Colby, his dad went up on Labor day weekend and saw a lot of bulls and even drew back a couple of times but didnt have a great shot. So they came home empty handed and even more excited for the next weeked. They headed back up the next weekend and hunted all day saturday. They were just getting ready to pack up and head back down the mountain when they heard something. Colbs dad did some calling and the bull came out. Colb took the shot and hit it straight in the heart. They gutted it and had to leave it there because it was so dark. They came back home and after a long restless night headed back up Sunday morning to pack it out. Colb was super excited and i was too. He told me before he left he was going to bring home the bacon and he really did!
