ok so let me just clarify on the last post. i was not meaning to offend anyone but some people took it totally the wrong way. it was all a joke. yes we really did get a dog. and yes they are like kids but i dont have to wipe their poopy butt. i know that dogs and kids are not comparable when it comes to loving them. i know that your love for a dog is different than your love for your child is. but for us this is our child for now and we love him like he is our first child. we are not ready for kids and the time is not right, when it is the right time heavenly father will let us know, and i know that our love will be completely different than what our love for our dog is. i dont care if you dont feel the same way about a dog, or you might think that we are stupid or crazy for thinking this way about a dog. but for some people it is normal, there are lots of people out there who cant have kids or some that have had miscarriages and having a dog or some other pet helps them heal and feel better,or fills that whole in your heart a little bit. it will never take the place of having a child but for those who know what its like to not be able to have kids or have had miscarriages they understand what i am talking about. you dont know why people have dogs and you dont know the stories behind people treating their dogs like they are thier kids and loving them so much. so dont judge a book by its cover. so now i will leave you with this. Knox is our special child for now and we love him.
p.s i hope i did not offend anyone with this post, and if i did i am sorry. but this blog is for family and friends who want to know whats going on in our lives and for us to look back on our memories, if you dont like it and are going to be offended, then dont read it. (i dont mean that in a mean way either, i just dont want to have to write sorry to everyone i offended over and over for things that people take the wrong way)!

i LOVE that you got a dog! we were the same way w/ reggie. not raedy to have kids of our own, but wanting to add to our family... so we got reggie! and now that we're having a baby, we just keep saying to eachother how grateful we are that we got reggie first. i think he's really helped prepare us for a REAL child. i totally understoond your post. getting a puppy was a smart move. and he's so dang cute, too! they're WAY too much fun! CONGRATS!
