weekend

\We had another fun weekend. friday night we just relaxed and watched a movie. then on saturday i woke up early to go pick up my bountiful basket. this was our first time doing bountiful baskets and lets just say it wont be our last. We got all of this for $15. so much cheaper than at the store. it might not look like alot in the picture but there is alot.


In this basket we got corn, watermelon, green peppers, mangos, bananas, apples, lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, tangeranes, and califlower. i cant wait to see what we get next time. it changes every time.

colby had a meeting all morning, and when i say all morning i mean 6 hours. i was not too happy about it, but what can you do. so i cleaned and put some stuff away then waited for him to get home. when he finally came home we worked out in the yard. on one side of our house there were some really nasty looking weeds. they have probably been there for years and no one has touched them. so we pulled them all out it took us about 4 hours. and we found a lot of scary things, we dont know what they were but we know it was something with alot of hair. it was so gross. i am so glad i dont have to pull in the driveway and look at that mess anymore. i cant wait to plant some stuff. lots of people dont like to do yard work. it is a lot of hard work but i love it. i love being able to be outside in the sun and knox running around jumping on my back, ripping a whole in my new gloves, and then running off with my box of garbage bags. he is just so sweet. haha. but i really love having a big yard and being able to be outside and enjoy it. We took a trip out to the dump and on the way back we stopped at colbys mom and dads house. colby said knox was old enough to ride in the back of the truck and i disagreed. so we put him back there, we were talking and knox was whining then i looked over just to see him crawl over the side and fall to the ground right on the cement. he landed right on his head and leg. i was in shock i didnt think he was going to get up he yelped really loud and was having a hard time getting up. i thought he was going to die. we calmed him down and he was ok then we noticed he was limping. i thought great he probably broke his leg and now we are going to have to put him to sleep. so we took him home and put him in bed. he is much better and is not limping anymore but let me tell you i was so scared and felt so bad i wanted to cry. but now we know he is tough and meant to be in this tough balls family. after all the trama we got ready and headed down to odgen for a triple date with some dinner and a night a wise guys. we picked up bj and jenda and then met jeff and michelle at chilies. we had such a great night together. i cant remember who the guy was at wise guys but he was crazy. he had so much energy, i have never seen anyone with that much energy. of course i left my purse at home which had the camera in it. so no pics. i know i am awesome like that. sunday we went to colbys sisters michelles house for a bbq and lots of fun. no kids got hurt so it was a good day. we had fun hanging out with everyone and just relaxing and chatting. i hope everyone had a happy mothers day. i want to say thanks to my mom and my mother in law and all of my sisters for being such great mothers, and for being an example to me. i love you all. happy mothers day!
